This Where I Go cache has 8 total stages. Players must complete all 7 stages to get credit for the 8th physical geocache find at the end. The year is 2386. The law has been changed in the state of Iowa that allows for time travel to collect evidence not previously discovered or available to retry murder cases where the accused was acquitted on suspicious circumstances where a conviction of guilty should have been reasonably applied.

About This Cartridge

This is Sioux City, Iowa's first Where I Go geocache.

The story combines historical fact with fiction that will hopefully take the players on an adventure they will enjoy while learning something along the way.

Players will need to download and install the cartridge for this Where I Go cache onto their handheld GPS device. They can find the cartridge at www.whereigo.com Depending on what type of device players use they may need to conduct some research to help with downloading and installing the cartridge correctly. Android smartphone users can download the Where You Go app from the Play Store.

Good luck and have fun!

As a direct descendant of one of Sioux City’s most famous murder victims, Reverend George C. Haddock you travel back in to gather new evidence to posthumously convict his murderer, John Arensdorf, who was acquitted after two trials in 1886. As you embark on this journey for justice you can either walk or ride a bicycle. It is recommended players do not driv

Starting Location

As directed you leave right away for the year 2016 with the coordinates that are supposed to take you to the location of the murder of Reverend George C. Haddock. Something goes wrong during the transport process back to 2016.

This was a straight forward Wherigo that was fun to play and it worked exactly the way it should. I would recommend this Wherigo.

I have a really sore foot and a bad knee at the moment and was really not looking forward to walking to 8 stages. The cache page said that they do not recommend driving, and to just walk to all the stages or maybe rent a bike. Well, I walked to the first 4 stages and realized I'd already walked about 1 mile and my foot and knee were really barking at me, so I headed back to my truck and finished the cart in my truck... I now wish that I had just drove the whole thing as downtown was really empty on this Labor Day.
But the wherigo was really fun and took me to a few historical locations that were very interesting.

It was a wonderful tour of downtown Sioux City but it sure helps to have a history background of the places and happenings :)
