Use the time machine to travel back in time and help the people of Plymouth Colony survive their first winter at their new settlement. For helping them, the governor will reward you with a treasure that he hid in the 1600s and you can regain today. Good luck on your adventure and Happy Thanksgiving!
The starting point is in Deering Oaks Park. You can park at N 43 39.598' W 070 16.155'.

I was in the area today with not much to do so I decided to go out and find some caches. The park was nearby, so I decided to see what it had to offer. I randomly picked a Wherigo and got started. I must have been doing a good job at scaring the fish because I had to walk back and forth many times. It took a bit, but I was finally able to bag my limit. After dropping off my catch I went and found the treasure I left myself in the past. Had a good time. Thanks for the Wherigo!

Convinced my son Kevin along with his player...IPhone...to take a walk around Deering Oaks to go fishing. We were lucky to find open water to cast our fishing pole to try our luck. We made may moves to improve our take, finally catching enough fish to feed the Pilgrims! Fun Wherigo and looking forward to return on a warmer day to do the other Wherigo's here in Deering Oaks!

Once again a terrific job on this wherigo had a lot of fun walking around the park and I'm starting to feel right at home here just like the regulars even though I had the place pretty much to myself on this damp chilly afternoon. My only complaint is I know for sure that some of the fish I caught was a whole lot bigger than the game told me it was I think you just wanted to keep me playing longer than I needed to. Thanks for a fun wherigo-- J&J

Terrific job by WIGO. While trained attack dog (not!) Cassie didn't get to enjoy any of the protein we procured, she did get a substantial run out of it. The one breather that Burglar80 and I took ended up in a "miss," which prolonged the game. After that, it was heads-up and hell-bent for leather the rest of the way.
TFTWIG. One hiccup while we waited for the satellites/app to catch up with us, but that was most likely on our end.
