A companion to the geocache by the same name, GC2NM89

About This Cartridge

A 9 mile round trip paddle exploring the St Johns River, Snake Creek and Hontoon Dead River, ending with an ammo can on an island near where you started. You should use either a canoe or a kayak for this hunt, as the water in Snake Creek is often too low for motor boats.

There are a buttload of gators out here, so use due care.

Starting Location

A secluded launch site accessing the St John's River, at the west end of W French Ave, just passed Blue Springs State Park.

Started out at the ramp using my Oregon 450 for the 1st time to find a Wherigo. Followed the directions & answered the questions. Evidently I think like Clan Riffster, now that's scary.
Saw some great sceneary, Snake Creek was not overgrown at all. Saw some gators, turtles & lots of birds.
Had a great time, even though I'm beat after paddling all those miles.
Thanks for the adventure.

Beta tested this today with an Oregon 300 and a Colorado 4001. Both devices worked all the way through.
