Tour-guide come treasure-hunt around The High Street, Newport, Essex that leads to a geocache (GC30YCH).

About This Cartridge

The High Street stretches from Station Road to Elephant Green and is a Postman's nightmare. Only one building displays a true number, all the other buildings on this stretch of road have traditional names.  To locate the geocache I give you the chance to find the few numbers on houses on the street.  Don't be fooled by things like "2 The White House" where one old house has been split up in modern times, or "1 Pond Cross Farm" which is on a different road.

Starting Location

Dorringtons the baker. Look for a green and white striped awning and park outside.

Stopped off on the way home from Stansted airport. We really liked this Wherigo. The 'house number' zone took us the longest to spot.

Had good fun doing this wherigo today. We should have paid more attention to the cache page and then we may have got it done quicker. A nice idea for a wherigo and a really good name for it too.
Could not upload saved game.

Played the wherigo with Uowho67. My cartridge wouldn't load either but did enjoy the walk up and down and up and down the high street.

Thanks for setting it. Worked all fine on the oregon it was just human error that caused us to take so long :-).

We completed the tasks and found the final geocache but, when we uploaded the saved file, we are told that we haven't completed the Wherigo.

As this our first Wherigo, we're not sure if we are doing something wrong. Please advise!

Thank you.
