*Please let me know of any errors or difficulties with the cartridge* This is a Wherigo for GC664QM: Number 8642 in the Church Micro series, started by Sadexploration.

About This Cartridge

St Peter's church is a partially ruined former church in the centre of Castle Park, Bristol. It was the victim of bombings during the Bristol Blitz in 1940 and stands as a memorial to the soldiers who gave their lives in the war.

My first attempt at a Wherigo.

The Wherigo is designed to take you on a tour of St Peters Church and the wonderful park that surrounds it, including the castle. There is an emphasis on the church, which is visited twice on the journey (you will have to take one route twice, sorry about this- it was the most efficient way of fitting in all of the stages).

The whole tour from start to finish has 21 stages, 19 of which have questions to answer. The whole cartridge shouldn't take more than 30-35 minutes to complete. Due to steps and two of the stages being on a grassy area, this cache is not recommended for wheelchairs.

Many of the questions come from information found on the blue signposts situated around the park. Unfortunately, due to vandalism (m

Had a break in experiments this afternoon so had a walk around and completed this cartridge. Guessed a few of the answers as I couldn't find some info and a statue which has gone. Had to go in and out of a couple of stages to get the questions to activate.
Had a nice walk around the park and the cache found no problems.

We were in Bristol on a necessary trip amidst the (slightly relaxed) COVID-19 lockdown. It was a lovely day and we had some time to kill before our appointment so we decided to attempt this Wherigo.

What followed was a very enjoyable and well-structured walk around Castle Park. There were a few points where we weren't able to find the item for a question but some trial and error got us through it.

In the end, we had a lovely time attempting this cache and were very happy to add another Wherigo cache to our found statistics.

A nicely put together Wherigo, a good one if you're new to them. We managed to play through it without any trouble (even when one of the clues had disappeared!). A lovely stroll around this park that brought us to some interesting features. Many thanks for setting this up :]

A morning in Bristol centre to try for a few church micros

A rare success, thanks to a bit of guesswork
Most of the stages were easy but one was out of bounds and/or missing and one I failed to spot. Luckily could make an educated guess
Once at GZ it was an easy spot
