Childrenscache with a lenght of appr. 1.8 km. Officially it is a geocache with a cachebox at the end. However upon completing the cartrifdge a completion code will be given to log as well on this site.

We came here as part of a half-term holiday in F/BE/NL/DE, during which we found many caches. We had tried another Whereigo earlier in the day but it became frozen part-way through and we were unable to complete it. Mrs look-sharp had identified this one as a possible alternative and we came here on our way back from a cycle trip around the Hoge Veluwe national park.
The Disney characters should not have presented much of a problem in themselves, especially with Miss look-sharp with us. However, the twist was knowing their Dutch names. We made a few errors initially but by a process of elimination and some inspired guesses, we managed to accumulate sufficient points to pass the test comfortably in the end. We enjoyed the walk through the woods in the afternoon sunshine. The cache itself proved a little tricky to find but Mrs look-sharp spotted it soon enough and we were able to claim our first Whereigo in the Netherlands. Many thanks.

Vandaag al vroeg op pad om deze wherigo te lopen in combinatie met het zoeken van de boerderijdieren. Een mooi stukje natuur zo opgesloten tussen de snelweg. De vragen waren goed te beantwoorden en zo werden we door disney langs smalle bospadjes gevoerd met op het eind de cache. Een goed verzorgde en zeker samen met kinderen een leuke cache.

Vandaag na het werk nog even deze wherigo en andere caches in noord Arnhem gezocht. De unlock code werkt helaas niet, deze zal ik wel verkeerd hebben overgeschreven...
De route was goed te lopen en alle antwoorden van de vragen waren snel gevonden. Toch handig om een abonnement op de Donald Duck te hebben gehad toen ik jong was!
Bij een van de laatste waypoints gaf de GPS echter kuren en crashte continu op weg naar het volgende punt. Door zelf handmatig het spel op te slaan is het toch gelukt om deze wherigo tot een goed succes te brengen!

Omdat we tijdens de laatste editie van het Poffertjes Event het bakken van de poffertjes hadden uitbesteed, konden we nu eens zelf op pad om een paar caches in de buurt op te pikken.
Bij deze gelijk ook even wat onderhoud uitgevoerd (lees: schoongemaakt) en nieuwe goodies achtergelaten. Hopelijk blijft deze kindercache nog lang intact als aandenken aan de 10 keren Poffertjes Event!

Een lekker ontspannende wandeling. Vlak langs de snelweg, maar daar merk je weinig van.
De vragen waren gelukkig makkelijk. Ik dacht dat ik niet veel Disney-figuren kende, maar dat viel mee. Ik had alles goed. Als beloning mocht ik de cache loggen.
