A timed night geocache.

About This Cartridge

Geocache Description:

Night Time

A wherigo with a difference.
I'm not saying it's going to be easy but it will be worth it.

Night Time

To complete this cache you'll need a few things...
Firstly you'll need it to be dark. It is a night cache after all.
You will need the ability to run Wherigo cartridges.
You will need a torch, also a UV torch, and a pen of course.
Decent footwear is advised and a moderate level of fitness or shear determination.

At the posted coordinates you will be standing a few meters North of a blue survey marker.
This is your starting point. You will need to have downloaded the Wherigo cartridge and start it here.
To the East you will see a gravel path and 2 timber posts leading out to the road.
Once you pass between the posts you have 10 minutes to complete the required stages of the wherigo.

Pass between the posts and follow the path to the road. Looking East search for a white reflector on the other side of the road (not the guidepost

Starting Location

Cardinia Aqueduct Trail car park.
Officer Rd.
Officer, Vic. AU

Tonight, I headed out with Stemicmitsar (Steve) with the goal of finding a night Wherigo and also finding some other caches of interest to us. This was the main prize we sought tonight. It certainly is a different sort of Wherigo. We bombed out on our first attempt because we missed a zone and took too long but the cartridge told us we had arrived within the allotted time.
We headed back down the hill and did it all over again. Much faster this time as we didn't have to stop for the two zones we had found on our first attempt and we arrived at the end with plenty of time to spare. A short walk to GZ and Steve made the find. An enjoyable but at times frustrating Wherigo. Another night cache to add to my tally too.
