Yikes!! Made the mistake of not seeing an easy way to the starting point and took the homeless hangout steep BW slide-y way down to it...found a much better way on the way back which I should have seen to start with. Wherigo was frightening enough but reaching the cache had my legs shaking...lots of squishy boards & a gap near the end!! A challenge & fav!

Now that it is Tax Day today (or tomorrow, if that is your wont), and I have given myself up to a Higher Power, I felt - with that experience under my belt - it was time to give it up to yet another Higher Power: thus, this cache/cartridge. I had never done a ropes course before, and that cliff face - well, I almost bailed out but that would just belay the inevitable.

As far as danger, I snort at danger! Harrowing? I really expected something really risk-taking of a higher order, like: ice cream parlors, or hot dog stands, or maybe even outside a night club. Anyway, having survived this, I now feel justified in presenting myself to my new Masters, the Dark Force!

In all SeriousNess, a truly vertiginous experience. TFTWIG!

OMG!!! This is the third time out here. It might not have been so bad it if wasn't so darn windy. It does make for a challenging wherigo.
It took me several hour to warm up. With this all said I am glad to have done this wherigo. Thanks for putting it ttogether.

Awesome adventure today...after eating a hearty (potentially) last meal, I gathered all of my supplies and hiked to the starting coords...Was temporarily delayed by the high speed train in the area, but ventured on after the train turned back from the dangerous area. Was not pleased with the footing, so was glad I had all of the necessary gear to attach myself to the structure...after a very slow walk came up with the coords and found the cache. Don't know why some previous cacher found it necessary to go all of the way to the end of the structure TWICE, maybe he's just a daredevil ; ) Great whereigo - look forward to more,,,why wasn't this rated a 5/5?!?

WOW, what an adventure! I was working on my newest WherIGo and at one point I had to make the listing of the cartridge on WherIGo site live to get the URL link, when I saw new cartridge in town. I immediately dropped everything, collect all the necessary gear and of I went. I wasn't sure for how long was this cartridge available in the directory and was worried that I might be too late for FTF.
On the approach I checked FindFriends on my phone for the location of certain cacher and saw him on I-295 in vicinity of GZ. Damn, I'm late to grab an FTF on WherIGo cache - went through my mind. I park my car at the small parking area by the trail, grabbed my gear and walk the last 0.3 miles to the starting point.
I started the cartridge, which took me literally on a roller coaster ride of the city/town. When I finally reached the end after several hours of strenuous adventure, I was scaling the last structure using my rope. What a surprise to see clean log-sheet. As I was signing the log with one hand and the other hand securing my lifeline on GriGri belaying device, a gust of wind blow the log away. I signed my name on a business card I had in my wallet and placed it back in the cache.
Thanks for the amazing adventure through the Portland's most dangerous places and prepublication FTF @ 4:50PM.
The cartridge worked well except the images didn't load at all, but that should be fixed by now.
