Light snow falling at dusk. With this as my first Whereigo, I walked to each location not knowing what to do. Being a big Myst fan, I kept snooping and began noticing things show up... once I caught on, I really enjoyed it. Working through the puzzles and eventually finding the cache... it’s like Christmas any day of the year! :-)

Once I got into the flow of things this Wherigo was fun. I had a great time getting into the "zone". Thanks for setting this up.

Thought we would get out and enjoy some of this nice weather today, and completed this Whereigo cache! We are still fairly new to this type of geocache, but it was fun! Thanks!

After celebrating milestone find #4000 at the CCARS16 Kickoff and WWFM event we teamed up with danboss again and hit the road together to go and find those caches. All in all we found 36 caches during the event weekend with only 2 non CCAR caches. Drove around for about 200 km as usaual and tried to still get some sleep to get ready for the next work week. Little Star Sascha certainly enjoyed some of the creative hides and especially the ones with swag in them. Many thanks to all the hiders as we were not able, for multiple reasons, to create any hides for this event.

So after the Wrap-up event it was time to play a different game and go for this WhereIgo. Located in a nice park in Evergreen we got there and a family had set up a birthday party. That was not a deterrent at all, so "Papa" Star was chasing back and forth in the park while Little Star Sascha enjoyed the playground under the observation of "Mami" Star. The other party was probably wondering what in all the world he was chasing after, but didn't bother to ask. This was a very well set up cartridge that made sense if you knew the story and played some whereigo's before. Otherwise you might get frustrated as it is not clear from the cache page alone what needs to be done. We encountered one other cacher leaving when we arrived that couldn't figure out what to do and didn't have enough time to continue. Well "Papa" Star certainly enjoyed his travel to the end of the universe and back and was able to retrieve the treasure. Signed the log and then headed south for one more cache of CCARS16. Deserves a favorite point.

First time doing a Wherigo cache. It was different - not as much fun walking around when it's 28C out but that certainly isn't the hider's fault!
