(GC2WBZZ) Wherigo In The World Is Garmin Sandiego?

About This Cartridge

You'll find out in this fun geocaching version of a classic game! Travel the northwest and ask around to get clues to find the T.I.C.O (Trash In Cache Out) henchmen. Capture a couple of crooks, and you could be assigned to the biggest case of all... Garmin Sandiego!!

Garmin Sandiego has the final cache container which contains the final coordinates and the completion code to this Wherigo. If you want to get the cache, you've got to catch her!

Great fun!!
7 solved cases, 9 failed.
Choosing an appropriately open area is key to solving this one, along with learning which locations connect to others on the game board for efficient travel during game play. Most of the 9 failed cases were due to running out of time on the game clock while trying to get to the next location if there was not a direct path available from the current spot.
Thanks for the fun. Hope to go after the final soon.

This is my favorite Wherigo ever (of the ten or so I've played). It took me a few hours but I have having fun the whole time.
Wherigos tend to be a bit clumsy to play but this was about as smooth as I imagine one can be.
The physical cache isn't too far for me so I plan to go for it at some point.

Finally!! Finally the elusive boss has been apprehended! I have played this lotsa times (oh how I wish I had one more turn) and in lotsa locations and encountered some surprise "guest" villains along the way. Nice touch. The game was fairly stable on an Oregon 300 and 450. They are prone to crashing. The downside was an inability to save the game so I could resume later. I had to pretty much restart the game from scratch each time and ensure my recharable batteries were fully charged. One time I was playing in an off leash area and a man walking his dogs saw me with my paper and pen and gps and said "not good" thinking I was from the town's planning dept out to develop the park. A couple of nights later I encountered him again and he had to satisfy his curiosity and ask what I was doing and I explained the whereigo concept and he recalled this board game and tv show. I also tried to play this on a Monterra using the Android app, but there seems to be a glitch with the distance calculations to the zones so instead of a 145ft square game board it was more like a half mile square. Too bad though because the game play seems faster on the new device. This was one of the most involved cartridges that I've played. Thanks for the great effort in producing this fun game. Aaaaaand.... reading the forum notes really helped!

We went to our local soccer fields today and captured all the bad guys there. :) We have a mission that we will embark on tomorrow to grab the final and put this case to bed, once and for all.

Finally beat the game after the 3rd try. Lot's of fun. Now I need to get the time to make it to the final cords for the actual cache. Thanks Geoeskimo!
