We have been looking forward to completing The Tattoine Incident Wherigo for some time. Downloaded the cartridge to the iPad and set off to Knutsford. The cartridge worked flawlessly on the iPad, although navigating it I found it be less than intuitive.

We completed all the stages, it was very interesting, we can see a lot of work has gone in to creating The Tattoine Incident. The final stage however was disappointing as the cartridge would not accept the codeword. Still, we had a good time and I'm sure it would be fabulous in the spring and summer time. Thank you for your hard work in creating this wherigo.

The day we chose to do this wherigo the Flower show was also on, so it was incredibly busy here today. We were told where to park which was half a mile from the start of the game. Once we had started the walk was lovely and really interesting. We all experienced problems with our cartridges crashing and refusing to allow us to reload our saved games and certain points on the walk, but eventually as we kept walking we were able to carry on with the game. Found the final location easily. The saved game was unable to be up loaded on the wherigo site which is a shame.
Thanks for all your hard work in setting up the wherigo we really enjoyed it.

Lovely sunny day to visit the park, we had a good look around the gardens before finding this cache. A very enjoyable walk around the park and we were glad we remembered to pack water into our rucksacks as it was such a hot day. Thanks for setting up this great Wherigo.

A nice walk in the snow but very glad that I kept saving my progress as it did keep closing the GPS down - very frustrating - I easily found all the stages. There are good (not cheap!) refreshments available from the cafe.

Whereigo #2/2 found while visiting the British Isles and Ireland for both work and pleasure.

Note: Lots of activity in Tatton Park getting ready for the RHS Flower Show. Found the stages without any issues. Thanks for this fun multi!

Completed today but cartridge wouldn't accept code word at the final cache. A great walk around Tatton Park.

We were using a Mio P350, veteran of 5 previous Wherigos, and an Oregon 450 which had only done one. Appropriate versions of the cartridge were downloaded about a week previously.

The Orgeon crashed before we even reached Stage 1 but was soon brought back to life. After that it was reluctant to go back to showing locations after anything came up on the 'you see' tab. We made a point of saving the game after each significant action and both units took us to Stage 3. At this point the PDA was struggling to maintain its GPS signal and basically lost all idea of the location of Stage 4.

We carried on to Stage 4 and input the codeword into the Oregon. This was accepted, we spotted the word 'completed' in the next text and decided that was all we had to do. I then took the PDA back to Stage 3 to see if it would cooperate again but still no joy.

After entering the codeword into the Oregon at the end of the Knutsford Wherigo I noted that this had a definite 'ending' which I hadn't seen on the Tattoine one. On trying to upload the .GWS file to the website I received a message to the effect that we hadn't fully completed the cartridge. From Stage 4 we had carried on to another cache. On restarting the game subsequent to the download failure I found that there was still another task remaining (return to the car park) and thought this might be the problem.

We were passing Knutsford on our way home a couple of days later so I returned to the car park where after several crashes the Oregon finally took me to a button saying 'finish'. I thought I'd cracked it but then doubts set it when it didn't take me out of the cartridge, just back to the main screen again. Sure enough the .GWS file didn't pass muster this time either.

We enjoyed The Tattoine Incident: 1 multicache, giving it a 'Favorite' point on gc.com but the software problems we encountered mean that we can only give 3 stars here. Nevertheless the work in putting this together is appreciated. TFTC

First (probably last) Wherigo. We used a Garmin 550T and got off to a good start, quickly locating Stage 1 before our GPS started crashing and resetting. This has never happened before whilst using this device to find normal caches - both frustrating and disappointing. Having read pages 1-6 at Stage 1, we noted the co-ordinates to Stage 2 expecting that we might have to input this information into the Garmin in order to navigate to the next stage. However, there was no option to do this other than for clicking on 'Found' (in the Actions' menu). We created a GPS waypoint manually using the co-ordinate shown in the report and set off for Stage 2. Between these two stages the GPS kept resetting, each time asking whether we wanted to 'Save' and then 'Resume' the game. We decided to abandon the Wherigo software and navigate in the traditional manner, quickly locating Stages 2 and 3. Overall, not our best day's caching but Tatton is a beautiful place to visit and has lovely landscapes and views over the lake. Lots of wildlife including deer. Parks shuts at 5pm (prompt) - current car park charge £5 (no concessions / NT members also pay)
