This Wherigo is located along the City of Ridgeland Multi-Use Trail. It's a total of a one mile walk (out and back) and you will experience 10 stops along the way that are to scale with the 444 mile Natchez Trace.
Parking is available at the Choctaw Agency pull-off from the Natchez Trace. The trail is paved and accessible year-round, but is closed after dark, so no night caching, please.

I am visiting Ridgeland for work this week and I was happy to see this Wherigo not too far from where I was staying. I had not been able to get out before this afternoon to geocache, and I am leaving for home tomorrow, so I knew I needed to go after this one today or I would have to wait until my next visit to the area. The cartridge worked perfectly and I enjoyed my walk along the trail, even though it was hot, and learn about the Trace and its history. All too soon, it ended and I had the final coordinates. Off I went for it, and once I spotted a geotrail, I knew I was close to it. I was surprised how exposed the cache was when I saw it from about 40 feet away, but it was in good shape and apparently unmolested. T -- Logan Roadhouse bucket; L - ORR carabineer. I'm giving this one a favorite point. Found at 5:37:00 PM on 07/14/2016. Thanks for the cache and the tour, dmmedlin! -- ORR

I had been needing to upgrade my iPhone to the latest iOS for quite a while. I upgraded it today for the express purpose of downloading the new iPhone Wherigo Ap and going hunting for this specific Wherigo cache.
This was our very first Wherigo and we didn't quite know what to expect.
Now that we have successfully completed all of the tasks and signed the log at the end, all I can say is "WOW!"
This takes geocaching to a whole new level and my mind is reeling with ideas for new hides which this technology this makes possible.
Our family had a lot of fun going on this augmented hike along the Natchez Trace today. The Trace and its fascinating history have been one of my favorite places and topics of study for almost 50 years.
The CO did a great job of reducing some of the highlights of the Trace into a short, pleasant and informative hike. Makes me want to drive the whole thing again.
Nice swag in the container. Glad to see The Good Book in there. We took nothing but photos and left nothing but foot prints.
We are hoping to see a lot more of these in Mississippi. Our family is going to look into creating some too.
Thank you again for creating this excellent cache and bringing our family so much fun and joy today.
Blessings and 73,
CaneMaster Family

This was so much fun! I did overshoot the Cypress Swamp by about a mile and a quarter before I figured out how to use the compass. Oh well, live and learn! Won't do that again, though. Love all the information and pictures included!
